L&P Gate is a family owned company,  founded by the Jimenez brothers in 1991. The company is a certified member of the American Welding Society, An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer, and  is a 100% bonded and Insured company. It holds various certifications at a municipal and state level, including:

•MBE: The City of Hartford, Minority Business Enterprise

•SBE: State of Connecticut, Small Business Enterprise 

•DBE: State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation, Disadvantage Business Enterprise 

•DAS Prequalified Contractor with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services.
